13 03 2018

Celebrities from the BBC and ITV are to take part in the Clash of the Channels Boat Race for Sport Relief on Salford Quays, Manchester, airing March 23.

The BBC team, captained by James Cracknell, includes Sara Cox, Dan Walker, Rory Reid, Sophie Raworth, Ellie Harrison and Dev, while ITV's team is captained by Helen Glover, who'll be joined by Charlotte Hawkins, Ferne McCann, Nicola Thorp, Chris Bisson, Jake Canuso and Chris Hughes. Olympic rowing legend Sir Sir Steve Redgrave has been mentoring the personalities for eight weeks, and commented 'Both teams have got world-class captains to lead them to the finish line. It’s going to be a fantastic effort with some good old-fashioned rivalry thrown in. I can’t wait to see who wins'.
